Doug McIntoshChairDoug is a retired project engineer, he and his wife Jennie have lived in East Williamston Village for 36 years and have been collectively engaged with the Association throughout most of that time, taking a particularly keen interest in the development of the Community Hall, Jubilee Park and EW Community Allotments.
Doug has also served as an EW Community Councillor for over 10 years. |
Ian Wilkinson MBEVice-ChairIan is an accomplished gardener and previously was Head Gardener for Test Valley Borough Council before moving to East Williamston in 1986 and has been instrumental on the Community Association since he moved to the village, serving as the secretary for 25 years.
Ian was awarded an MBE in 2011 for services to the community. In his spare time!! Ian enjoys gardening and classic cars. |
Tony EnsomSecretaryTony qualified first as a Chartered Surveyor and then had a change of career and became a Chartered Arbitrator, adjudicating in construction and property-related disputes.
He was born and brought up in south east England but, on retirement, moved to East Williamston in 2013. He soon joined the hall committee and for some years he was also a community councillor. |
Kathy TalbotTreasurerKathy has lived in East Williamston since 2007 with her husband Mike. Together they have helped with the Friends of East Williamston Community Jubilee Park and become involved with the Community Hall and organising the Associations finances.
With a background in Art History Kathy is also a trustee of Tenby Museum and Art Gallery, which she enthusiastically promotes. |
Gwyneth BeynonTrustee
Gwyneth has been involved with the Hall since 1982. As well as being a Trustee, she is also the maintenance manager of the Hall, and she has lived in East Williamston since her marriage in 1970.
She has three daughters who have all made their homes in the village. Gwyneth is also a member of St Elidyr Church and enjoys, gardening, baking (her welsh cakes are legendary) and jigsaws. |
Sian BeynonTrustee
Sian has been a trustee since 2000, and is also the for the Community Hall.
Sian's family have lived in East Williamston for almost 250 years. Sian is a support worker and enjoys baking, dress making and upholstery. Sians celebration cakes are well renowned. |
Tracy BeynonTrustee
Tracy has been a trustee of the Association since 2020, she was previously a hall committee member and has assisted in an unofficial capacity since the hall was rebuilt in 2000. She has recently taken on the position of Booking Clerk for the Community Hall.
Tracy lives in East Williamston with her Aunt, adult son and her dog, her family have lived in the village for almost 250 years. Tracy is a Digital Communications Officer for Hywel Dda Health Board and has worked for the local NHS in various roles for over 20 years. She has a particular interest in website development, social media and media production as well as being a keen amateur photographer. |
Julie BurgessTrusteeOriginally from Cardiff, Julie lives, with her family in Pentlepoir.
A graduate of Cardiff university, she qualified as a Chartered accountant and now runs a local accountancy firm with her husband Steve. Julie has been appointed as liaison officer at the Community Allotments. |
Amanda CresswellTrusteeOriginally from Newport Gwent, Mandy has lived in East Williamston for over 20 years with her husband Mark and 2 daughters.
Mandy is a retired Police Officer, presently delivering medication for Mendus Pharmacy. |
Jill EnsomTrusteeJill was born in Pembrokeshire but after she left Pembroke Grammar School her family
moved to London. A graduate of King’s College, London, she qualified as a teacher and taught Biology and Science at secondary and grammar schools in Kent and Surrey. She moved back to Pembrokeshire in 2013. |
Jenny OliverTrusteeJenny is originally from Northern Ireland and moved to East Williamston in 2022 after many years in south east England.
Jenny is a qualified dentist who has spent most of her career as a public health consultant working for the NHS and Public Health England. She has recently had a career shift and is working for a baby milk company. Jenny has a passion for dogs, cooking and weightlifting. She and her husband Gary have fully embraced village life and are looking forward to being considered true locals in the next five decades or so. |
Mark TaylorTrusteeOriginally from Newbridge, Gwent, Mark has lived in East Williamston for almost 20 years with his wife Mandy and family.
Mark is a self employed carpenter/ joiner, and built the amazing permanent bar we have in the hall. Mark is a member and former captain of East Williamston Short Mat Bowls Club |

Jill lives in Cold Inn and she has been a member of the village hall committee since her retirement from education. Jill and her family have enjoyed being involved with the hall for more than 40 years and hope to continue into the future. |
Cliff moved to the village, after retiring from aerospace engineering, in 2008 , where he runs a smallholding with his husband Tim. He has been a committee member /trustee for the Hall Association since 2010. Cliff and Tim are keen attendees/quiz masters of the monthly hall quiz. |
